type '' services '' in the search bar, then find '' windows update '' and disable it there. for me it worked

i have done this several times and it works untill i restart or turn off my pc then start downloading again!

bro, as far as i know, in windows 10 you can delay the update for 30 days, there is no way to disable it in the same way in windows 7

ya bro i know about that 7 days disable option but the problem is that it starts at any time when the 7 days finished and increase my ping to unplayable levels which is so bad !

I have a solution , you need just to set your connection as a metered
GO TO :
networks & internet > wifi > (click on your network) > enabel (set as metred connection)
