How to play against Master Yi?

Early Game:​

1. Invade and Pressure:
   • Master Yi is vulnerable in the early game. Coordinate with your team to invade his jungle, disrupt his farm, and delay his power spike.
2. Ward and Track:
   • Place deep wards in the enemy jungle to track Master Yi's movements. This helps your team anticipate his ganks and respond accordingly.
3. Counter-Jungle:
   • If you have a strong duelist or a jungler with good early game presence, consider counter-jungling to set Master Yi behind and delay his scaling.

Champion Picks:​

1. Hard Crowd Control:
   • Champions with hard crowd control (CC) can shut down Master Yi during team fights. Examples include Malzahar, Warwick, Lulu, and Nautilus.
2. Burst Damage:
   • Burst-oriented champions can quickly eliminate Master Yi before he has a chance to activate his Meditate (W) or deal significant damage. Assassins like Zed or burst mages like Syndra can be effective.
3. Tanky Disruptors:
   • Tanks with strong crowd control can disrupt Master Yi's engages and make it difficult for him to navigate team fights. Champions like Malphite, Rammus, or Sejuani fit this role.

Gameplay Tips:​

1. Coordinate with Crowd Control:
   • Communicate with your team to coordinate crowd control abilities during team fights. Timely CC can prevent Master Yi from dealing damage or using Meditate effectively.
2. Build Grievous Wounds:
   • Purchase items with Grievous Wounds, such as Executioner's Calling or Bramble Vest, to reduce Master Yi's healing from Meditate.
3. Positioning:
   • Position yourself in a way that you are not the primary target for Master Yi. Stay near your team, especially near champions with CC, to make it harder for him to engage.
4. Save Crowd Control for Meditate:
   • If Master Yi activates Meditate during a fight, try to save your hard CC for when he comes out of it. This disrupts his healing and leaves him vulnerable.
