Tearing of mouse cables is not really normal unless you use it really harshly or on harsh surfaces. Braded cables are a best way of protection so get a mouse with that kind of cable or you can alternatively save up and get a wireless mouse if you have the budget.

get a wireless mouse its much better but for now i know companies online sell like rubber tubes you can put over wires and then you just apply a lil heat and it will shrink and form to the wire to add extra peotection
