Go to Services, the search Windowsupdate, Double click, set it to disabled instead of Automatic/Manual, then Apply change, then STOP, and BAM, it will not Auto update again.

If the update has already installed and pending a restart, I'm not sure how you can cancel that. But you can use simplewall from Henry++ to block svchost.exe and prevent the windows update service from having internet access. I do that first thing after installing windows

downgrade it first then it will be there in settings windows update you can set it in there
