I was wondering how Valorant can detect cheats on pc? does vanguard scan the whole pc always or only if you open the cheat with their game opened?

What will happen if you cheated on another game that has HWID ban like apex legends and you got ban there?

no tiene que ver con la modificacion de memoria. porque podria hacer un cheat externo solo usando readprocessmemory o readvirtualmemory pero si el anti cheat tiene proteccion contra callback o algo parecido igual detectaria que estoy leyendo la memoria del proceso asi que es mucho mas extenso que eso

vanguard integrate it self in your system roots and basically continue to scan every thing ram addresses, services and processes and detect the abnormalities

vangard is a ring0 anti-cheat. So you can't elevate anything above it.
Also, it runs all the time; even when you're not playing (they added the ability to turn it off later on).

Still people are able to hack it; due to some weaknesses.

Vanguard detects the cheat, but it fails so many times you can cheat with free cheat easy but if you got reported by players the ban still occurs

vanguard will never allow you to run the game if he suspect something but even if you run the cheat he will scan the game files and anything in you pc because he had kernel access and you will get HWID ban

Vanguard is pretty decent, it runs on your pc as soon as you start and in most cases if you want to play valorant you will need to restart your pc and turn on the anti cheat client, it doesnt ''scan'' your whole pc, but it does alot of work in ring0 (kernel mode) and such. im sure ppl arleady made many forum posts about vanguard, bypassing methods etc. cant help you with that, but im sure you will find if you look.
