More people die from influenza type a and b. However, therapies and drugs for influenza have been found and doctors know how to cure patients. The problem with covid-19: the virus is new, uknown and health experts are not sure how it works. If any vaccine for sars-cov-2 gets invented, then the pandemic will shortly end after that. Countries should invest money in studies and science researches.
