if you are looking for cheap and decent pc then u should buy ryzen 5 2600 with rx 580 8gb ram, 1tb hdd b450 motherboard, but if your good with money try to get i7 9700k gtx 1080 ti 16gb of ram 1tb hdd and MSI MPG Z390 motherboard

for 2020 games this will work fine :

also it depends on what games do you wanna play, or else how you wanna use your pc...
if you wanna use for workspace you should go with intel and if you wanna go with gaming you should go with amd and it depends also what games you wanna play, rumour about that amd cooling system is trash isn't real, if you use it with cpu cooling everything will be fine.

Buy a 3060ti and you will have in 2 - 2 and a half years of playing games on medium and high setting with your i5 9400f and buy 16gb of ram. That will do it for sure

3700x with 3060ti or 3070 is a sweet spot for any games, could prob run you 144+ frames on almost all games at medium-high settings depending on game. Max settings on most games would hit 144 prob 240.

Go for budget PC and keep changing the components after 2 or 3 years
first of all you need to state your budget and not the games you want to play. People can recommend pcs that your wallet cant really afford it lol. First of all you choose how much you have or want to spend on the new rig and only then you start finding what you'd like to have.
