desktop ofc laptop needs to be charged which sucks
i tried both and still have both,
each of them have they're own advantages and disadvantages!
1) laptops are easy to move and don't take any space but their hardware problems are rarely fixable and you might need to buy a new one, and they heat up fast and the fan starts getting dusty and gives sounds within time!
and you can only upgrade ram and HD!
Desktops take allot of space but are better in performance and they have multiple fans so you won't face any heating , they almost never lag, and their hardware problems can be easily fixed! and all parts can be upgraded when needed!!!
16GB of ram is enough if you are only gaming, but if you are streaming or using designing programs you should get the 32GB RAM

2- Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1620 0 @ 3.60GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.6GHz
3- Memory: 16384MB RAM
4- External Card name: Radeon (TM) RX 470 Graphics 8GB
5- Internal Card name: NVIDIA Quadro NVS 450-4GB
6- 1TB SSD Hard DISK
7- Intel(R) C600/X79 Motherboard
8- Monitor Model: SAMSUNG 20 INCH LED
Price: 720$
Monitor: 200$

Yes, if you will buy a best laptop you don`t need a PC
pc is more comfortable than laptop.. most laptop have temperature issue when gaming.. I have gaming pc and gaming laptop I tried to play in my laptop for about couple more hours and it started to get hot very hot mostly keyboard

its better in the sense of power but you cant take it on the go so it depends on what you want to use it for

Laptop is for mobility, use anywhere, but then you would need an external keyboard and a mouse, probably also an extra cooler because it gets very hot. The Desktop is more spacious, you would also need the peripherals, but I couldn't take it anywhere

use a PC instead of a laptop, because its power is better
Depends really what you wanna do
If its gaming/workstation for editing and stuff then Desktop pc would be pretty perfect considering Performance per Euro
If you can spend any amount of money and stuff then go for Laptop because you can take it almost everywhere
