- Split-push. This means sending one or two players to push down a side lane while the rest of the team stays grouped and takes objectives. If you can successfully split-push, you can put pressure on the enemy team and force them to make a decision. They can either send multiple players to stop you, which will allow your team to take an objective, or they can ignore you, which will allow you to take down a turret or inhibitor.
- Play for picks. This means looking for opportunities to catch enemy players out of position. If you can successfully pick off one or two enemy players, you'll give your team a numbers advantage, which you can then use to take objectives or force a team fight.
- Make the most of enemy mistakes. If the enemy team makes a mistake, such as overextending or getting caught out, you can punish them for it. This could mean taking a kill, getting an objective, or even winning the game.
