Obviously AKM gives more damage than M416 as it uses bigger 7.62 ammo but the recoil is very high which can be deciding factor of your winning and losing the game and the bullet velocity is lower than M416. If you know that you will encounter close range combats then go for AKM but if you are a person who shoots your enemy from distance then go for M416.

if you able to aim correctly AKM is better cause more dmg, but if use universal, use M416, as is more accurate, and have higher speed of shots!
