The quest-ish modpacks like SkyFactory series is really good, especially if you can play with someone, but playing it alone is also decent. Also engineering part of Tekkit is really intruging, if you wanna learn something "complex" from scratch. If you are into mystical stuff, I think that the featured modpack called Hexxit is really decent and fun
