between knives and secrets is one of my favorites

Some films that are complex and may require deeper thought when finished include:

"Memento" (2000) - a film told in a non-linear way that challenges the understanding of the main character's story and memory.

"Inception" (2010) - a science fiction film with multiple layers of reality and dreams that defy the viewer's understanding.

"The Prestige" (2006) - a mystery thriller about two magicians who engage in a deadly competition, with a surprising final reveal.

"The Master" (2012) - a dramatic film about the relationship between a cult leader and his follower, which questions the nature of truth and manipulation.

"The Tree of Life" (2011) - a poetic and experimental film that explores themes such as life, death, love and divine existence, with a non-linear narrative.

There are many classic and critically acclaimed movies that are considered must-see films. Some examples include:

  1. "The Godfather" (1972) directed by Francis Ford Coppola: A crime film that tells the story of the Corleone family, a powerful mafia clan in New York City.
  2. "Pulp Fiction" (1994) directed by Quentin Tarantino: A nonlinear crime film that tells several interconnected stories.
  3. "The Shawshank Redemption" (1994) directed by Frank Darabont: A drama film that tells the story of a man who is wrongfully convicted of murder and sent to prison.
  4. "The Godfather: Part II" (1974) directed by Francis Ford Coppola: A crime film that tells the story of the Corleone family and explores the early life of Vito Corleone.
  5. "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" (2003) directed by Peter Jackson: An epic fantasy film that is the final installment of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
  6. "Schindler's List" (1993) directed by Steven Spielberg: A historical drama film that tells the story of a German businessman who saves the lives of more than a thousand Jewish refugees during the Holocaust.
  7. "The Dark Knight" (2008) directed by Christopher Nolan: A superhero film that explores the transformation of Batman and his fight against the Joker.
  8. "The Matrix" (1999) directed by The Wachowskis: A science fiction film that explores the nature of reality and the power of the mind.
  9. "Goodfellas" (1990) directed by Martin Scorsese: A crime film that tells the story of Henry Hill and his life in the world of organized crime.
  10. "The Silence of the Lambs" (1991) directed by Jonathan Demme: A psychological horror film that tells the story of an FBI agent on the hunt for a serial killer.
Keep in mind that this list is subjective and there are many other great films that may be considered "must-see" depending on individual taste.
