You can run the MH project alongside "Process Monitor"(Files created/deleted, Keys Opened/edited, everything, so much thing that you will be bored out of your mind) and watch everything it doest, no problem.

It is safe, in general, antiviruses usually detect anything as malicious, but it is because it comes from non-certified developers etc. But it is safe, I have been using it for a long time and I have not had problems

it's safe but windows will define it as a virus so turn the windows defender off

that is why it is categorized as virus
