We all had some nightmares that we encounter whether it be in dreams or real life. How did you overcome it?
First and foremost, it's important to acknowledge that nightmares are a normal part of the human experience. They often serve as a way for the brain to process and make sense of difficult emotions or experiences. It's normal to feel afraid or anxious after a nightmare, but it's important to remind yourself that they are not real and cannot harm you.
To overcome nightmares, it's important to address underlying causes of anxiety or stress in your life. This could include anything from work or school stress, family relationships, financial concerns, or other personal issues. Addressing these underlying causes can help reduce the frequency of nightmares.
It's also helpful to practice relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing, meditation, or mindfulness, to reduce stress and anxiety. Exercise can also help relieve stress and improve sleep quality, which in turn can reduce nightmares.
If nightmares persist or become interfering with your everyday life, it's important to seek professional help from a mental health provider or therapist. They can provide personalized support and guidance to help you manage and overcome nightmares.
I mean why wouldn't you overcome it. If you become part of it then wouldn't that mean you gave up. Also nightmares can't be beaten by your own imagination because it's like a sleep paralysis where you know you're dreaming but you can't do anything (except for moving)What's the need to overcome it when we can simply become a part of it? Who needs restful sleep when you can terrify your dreams with your own imaginative creations?
It's not that I'm giving up or anything. Sometimes it's just nearly impossible to overcome your darkest fears. I'm not going to make a big issue about it.I mean why wouldn't you overcome it. That's not a favorable suggestion. Humans indeed require sleep, unless you happen to be a robot. Bip bip!the fix is don't sleep
