I agree that amd's technology has evolved very well in recent years, and in some segments they have really competed with Intel. but I think about gaming, intel is a little bit more.
Take for example the top two chips for individual users r9 3950x and i9-9900k, you can find very easy results of those who have used and shared them. i9-9900k is still better than r9 in gaming, that's not to mention the i9-9900ks - a higher-end variant of i9-9900k. and I have to say this, if it's just about gaming, intel is better. And if you just play gam, stream, or edit graphics, designer, choose amd because it has more cores.
