I too have used the M249 very little, because it takes a long time to reload you have to focus on not reloading. because if they attack you and recharge they kill you.

yes they have made mistake that, they took out the M249 from the drop,
and second one is reduce the power of the M249
only good news is they introduced extened mag. for it
