Don't spend any money on anything older than a 1060.
If you could save a bit more, try to get a 1070/1080 they've become cheaper now. (also if you find a used one that's still in a good condition it would be 5x better than the 1060).
If you get the 1060 you'll need to be ready to play games on medium/low to get any decent framerates.

GTX 1060 is still good GPU just lower the sittings it should run almost all games 60FPS on mid

1060 kinda dead rx580/590 is much cheaper and more performance
