I know there is a way to virtualize it, but this is extremely heavy, does anyone know of another solution?

One possible solution is to use a sandboxing software that isolates each process and allows you to run multiple instances of the same software. Another option is to use a multi-instance program that allows you to run multiple instances of a single software, such as Sandboxie or RunAsDate. However, please note that using such solutions may have implications for your system's performance and stability, so proceed with caution.

You can also try using sandboxing software like Windows Sandbox. These programs allow you to run applications in a secure and isolated environment, which can help prevent conflicts when running multiple instances of the same software.

Another option is to use a separate user account on your computer to run the second instance of the software. This can help isolate the software and prevent conflicts with other programs or processes running on your primary user account. However, this solution may not work for lol and can be more complicated to set up.

Removing the option from users. All others are virtualization anyway thanks for the reply. I will see this user option.

Hey! As far as I know, there isn't a built-in way to open two instances of League of Legends simultaneously. However, there are third-party programs that can allow you to do this. Just be careful when using third-party software, as it can potentially compromise the security of your account.

No, it is not possible to run two instances of the League of Legends game client on the same computer simultaneously. This is due to technical limitations with the game client and the way it interacts with your computer's hardware and operating system.

However, there are a few workarounds that allow you to run two instances of the game client on the same computer. One way to do this is by using virtual machine software, which allows you to create a virtual computer within your existing computer. You can then install a separate copy of the game client on the virtual machine and run it alongside the main instance of the game client running on your host operating system.

Another workaround is to use a third-party application such as Sandboxie, which allows you to run applications in a "sandboxed" environment. This can be used to run a second instance of the game client on your computer, although it may not be as stable or reliable as running the game natively.

It's worth noting that running multiple instances of the game client can be resource-intensive and may cause performance issues or crashes. Additionally, it is against the game's terms of service to use third-party software or modifications that alter the game client or provide an unfair advantage.

I don't think this is possible without virtualization, correct me if im wrong but league even checks for reclass or cheat engine opening, so they can prevent 2 games opening as well imo

Yes, there is a way to open two instances of League of Legends (not just the client) on your computer. Here's a method you can try:
  1. Copy the League of Legends installation folder: Locate the folder where League of Legends is installed on your computer. By default, it is typically found in "C:\Riot Games\League of Legends" or a similar directory. Right-click on the folder and select "Copy."
  2. Paste and rename the copied folder: Choose a different location on your computer where you want to have the second instance of League of Legends. Right-click in that location and select "Paste." Once the copied folder appears, right-click on it and select "Rename." Give it a different name, such as "League of Legends 2" or any other unique name.
  3. Modify the copied folder: Open the copied folder (the one you renamed) and find the "RADS" folder inside it. Open the "RADS" folder, then the "system" folder, and locate the "user.cfg" file. Right-click on the file, select "Open with," and choose a text editor (like Notepad) to open it.
  4. Edit the user.cfg file: In the user.cfg file, you will see a line that says "leagueClientOptIn = yes." Change this line to "leagueClientOptIn = no" and save the file. This step ensures that the second instance of League of Legends does not open the client.
  5. Create a shortcut for the second instance: Right-click on the "League of Legends.exe" file inside the copied folder, select "Create shortcut," and place the shortcut on your desktop or any convenient location.
  6. Launch the second instance: Double-click on the shortcut you created in the previous step. This will launch the second instance of League of Legends without opening the client. You can now log in with a different account and play in this second instance alongside the original instance.
Please note that modifying game files or running multiple instances of the game simultaneously may not be officially supported by Riot Games, the developer of League of Legends. Proceed at your own risk, and make sure to comply with the game's terms of service to avoid any penalties or account-related issues.
Additionally, keep in mind that running multiple instances of the game on the same computer can consume significant system resources, so ensure that your hardware can handle it without causing performance issues.
