Questions about programming

First of all, im sorry if this isn't in the right thread.

Either way im trying to learn some kind of programming language but im really not sure where to begin. I've been taught a little bit of JAVA SE in highschool and i've been told that it's a very basic language that i shouldn't continue learning.
My question is where all of you have learned to code? Whether it's youtube or some other way. Also would be nice if there was a place that gave you "homework" or tasks that you solve.

This really depends on what you are trying to achieve while coding, there are so many different things in programming, if you are interested into coding cheats, you will deffinetly need to start with c++. there are plenty youtube channels and different forums, also discord channels that are helping beginners to start coding. If you are more into coding a bot or something like that then you need to start with python/node js. Programming a game is recommended either in java or c sharp, but it depends on what platform you are making it aswell. Good luck tho.

python is quite easy, but its not the best. it really depends what you wanna do with coding, if you have 1 field you're interested in, you will have to choose your language accordingly.

eehh, there are alot of c++ tutorials but its one of the hardest languages to start with.

lmao weird question bro. Its just way easier to write python code, has way less rules to make your code do something and generally easier to understand it

True, if you have a specific interest, python isn't the best choice. But if you want to get started in the coding world, it's a great choice.

Learn C. C is a very convenient and easy language for a beginner. I use it always and never regretted that I studied it first. (It is used for writing antivirus programs and system extensions and programs) Although of course not all applications are written in C. Many are written in python. It is also very popular. So after C, learn python
