What Would you suggest i'd use (G.Skill,Kingston,Corsair,etc.)...should i do 2x4 or 1x8 for 8GB ram? and Why?

Some says if your old ram is 4gb it's ok to add another 4gb to the open slot to make it 8gb to make it balance and works fine than adding 8gb to make it 12gb. When it comes to the brand, well any brand is good though. It depends on your budget.

Corsair 1x8 is my recommendation. Using 2x4 will still give you 8GBs, but you will be taking up more slots on the board when one can do the job. Its not the question of 2x4 or 1x8 its the question of 2400MHz or 3000MHz and if its GDDR3 or GDDR4
