Review God of ragnarok

this game have god graphic

it was the goty for me, i didnt like to play elden ring

good game but required a good graphic card

Love GOW series to death, but this game is not well-written and is very underwhelming and boring in terms of character and storytelling.

1. In comparison to the excellent writing of the previous game, this sequel takes a huge nosedive. This game seems to lack that narrative and emotional depth that the last one possessed, and if anything it spends way too much time focusing on other characters that are either bland or uninteresting to be invested in. Its a lot more character convos and flower picking downtime, and yet somehow manages to feel super rushed when it gets to the important bits that you've been waiting for. The pacing is awful, I can definitely see why so many people are saying it shouldve been a trilogy.

2. Actreus. I genuinely liked Actreus's character in the last game, thought he was a likable kid character with a defined personality and flaws that helped tremendously with the whole Father-Son bonding plotline. BUT in this game, Actreus is so downright annoying and generic that he is unbearable. He's basically a bland Shonen MC. He's veey boring to play as well. I just can't care about his character or his conflict because there's nothing to be invested with him as a character anymore.

3. Too much family drama. Yes, there was family drama in the last game, but that was at least balanced and well-executed. Here it's not, the family drama feels contrived and poorly built up. Too much teenage stuff with Actreus that doesn't feel earned. Nothing feels organic.

5. The dialogue of characters are terrible, not engaging or complex or even remotely insightful in comparison to the last one.


6. There are so many superior storyline that they could have went with that would have been more intriguing than one we got.

7. There's too little epicness in comparison to the other games. There's only one epic moment in the entire game, when you meet Thor and Odin. From then on it should have been all awesomeness all around since it is literally Ragnarok. But no, it's slow, boring, annoying mythology lesson. It's overwhelming and boring afterwards.


8. The Villians suck. Thor. Odin. All boring, unremarkable and just not memorable.

9. Actreus is the second worst interpretation of Loki I’ve ever seen. As I said before he is not likable, eye catching or inspiring characters in any way. I really wanted to see him inherit Kratos spartan rage powers. Not that transformation thing. That should have been separate. The theory about him possibly having Zeus powers would have been wholly more cinematic and memorable. As well as tying back to his lineage. But nope. All interesting plot points are just kicked to the side.

Literally everything was disappointing.

First of all, the optimization of the game is amazing. Graphics are top notch for AAA game.

I think so. Game is great. But not as good as old God of War in my opinion.
