if the router is upgraded from a connection type to another
i mean if you have a vdsl connection
and you have an adsl router it only will allow you to maybe a speed of approximate 20mps
lets consider if you bought a new router which supports vdsl connections
your speed will be upgraded to higher speeds but after all you are not going to get more speed
than what your isp provider is supporting you with
so technically it is a no but it works in some situations when you have a rally old slow router
i mean if you have a vdsl connection
