Have a xiaomi note 9 pro in my family. This is an good phone, i examined it and i love it. You can look and buy to higher versions. But my best recommend phone is always iphone 12 pro.

If you want Future Proof then go for Iphone, If you like modding and love to get latest techs on every release then go for Xiaomi as to my knowledge they release cheap phones with competitive specs and you can easily sell or swap it for a new one after a years or two.
