May unsupport their brand. that why can control official SSD and HDD software only. For low level format, etc.. more features
HDD is life time storage without any error without if damaged box
SSD is fast than HDD. all games can fast loading screen but may life ends if always runing read / write bytes

To check health of disk without soft:
Type "cmd" into the search bar, don't hit enter, instead right-click on "Command Prompt" and select "Run as Administrator." Once the new Command Prompt window opens, you can then type "chkdsk" and hit enter.
FPS would be the same in HDD and SSD games, but the speed of loading is like 5x faster on SSD, so basically you want to have Windows installed on SSD to be fastest as possibel, personally I have BIG games with 50+GB on HDD, and small one like Valorant, CS, League on SSD to faster load things. Remember, disk wudnt increase FPS, just the loading timers.
