I'm going to take advantage of the post and ask, which is the best champion in the meta to win mid lane?

The "meta" in League of Legends refers to the most effective strategies, champion picks, and item builds that are commonly used by players in a given period. The meta is constantly evolving as new champions are introduced, items are changed, and gameplay mechanics are adjusted. Here is a brief overview of the evolution of the meta in League of Legends:

1. Early Seasons (Seasons 1-3): In the early seasons of League of Legends, the meta was focused on a 2-1-2 lane setup, with two players in the top lane, one player in the mid lane, and two players in the bottom lane (a marksman and a support). The jungle was not as important as it is today, and players often picked tanky champions to soak up damage.

2. Season 4: The introduction of trinkets in Season 4 changed the meta significantly, as players could now place wards without having to purchase them. This made vision control a key component of the game, and support champions became more popular picks.

3. Season 5: The introduction of new items such as Luden's Echo and Runeglaive led to the rise of mage champions in the mid lane. The meta also shifted towards more aggressive playstyles, with teams focusing on early game leads and snowballing advantages.

4. Season 6: The introduction of the Elemental Dragons in Season 6 made dragon control a key objective, and teams began to prioritize early dragon fights. The meta also saw the rise of top lane carry champions such as Fiora and Irelia.

5. Season 7: The introduction of the Rift Herald in Season 7 led to a shift in the top lane meta, with top laners prioritizing split pushing and taking down turrets. The support role also saw significant changes, with the introduction of new support items that allowed for more gold generation and utility.

6. Season 8: The removal of the traditional rune system and the introduction of the new Runes Reforged system in Season 8 led to significant changes in the meta. Players could now customize their runes to fit their playstyle, and there was a greater emphasis on early game aggression.

7. Season 9: The introduction of the new Conqueror rune and the rework of several champions such as Akali and Irelia led to a more aggressive and mobile meta, with players focusing on high damage and mobility champions.

8. Season 10: The introduction of new items such as the Blade of the Ruined King and the rework of several champions such as Fiddlesticks and Volibear led to a shift in the meta towards more sustain and tankiness.

Overall, the meta in League of Legends has evolved significantly over the years, with new champions, items, and gameplay mechanics leading to changes in the way the game is played. It will be interesting to see how the meta continues to evolve in the future.

The top lane is seeing a surge of bruisers and fighters dominating the Rift. Champions like Darius, Sett, and Garen are becoming common picks due to their tankiness and damage output.
In the jungle, we're witnessing a rise in high-impact assassins and carry junglers, such as Kha'Zix and Hecarim. Their ability to snowball early can tilt the game in their team's favor.
Mid lane is experiencing an influx of control mages like Orianna and Syndra, bringing consistent damage and strong teamfight presence.

It's so exciting how much the game changes every season~
