I'd also like to add another thing here. In my opinion, an ideal world is where you are able to learn whatever you want, however you like on your own accord and for minimal costs. And when you feel like you have achieved mastery in a specific area, you can apply for a license/certificate. As long as the neurosurgeon operating on you has a well renowned certificate and license, it wouldn't matter at all where they got their skills from, be it self-taught or schooled.Idk man, I would much rather choose a schooled neurosurgeon to operate on me than a self-taught one. Same goes with lawyers (I study law myself). University is not only about wasting your life on pointless knowledge, it can also give u some directions and connections you can't just get yourself. Life is not like The Suits.
