1. watch tutorials on youtube and learn the basic principles of tactical shooters - crosshair placement, movement, positioning, utility usage, map knowledge
2. develop game sense by playing a lot. you can do this by playing unrated or competitive games, but i recommend doing deathmatches as they are the best way of getting into gunfights quickly
3. communicate with your team! it doesn't matter if you have the shittiest aim in the world, your team will still appreciate your comms. in a tactical shooter communication is crucial, especially in ranked games.
As a cs go player, my aim is above average, but even though I've been playing valorant for 2-3 months, I still don't have an character that I play very well. I have a very difficult time getting used to the skills.
Talk with your teammates before the match to discuss planning and strategy, and during the match to call out enemy locations, in-game movements and item drop locations. And it also helps to talk after the match to discuss if the tactics worked well.
When calling out locations during the game, be as specific as possible. Miscommunication can cause problems for your team and hand the opponents the victory.
thank you very much, i am a new player of valorant, and i am having a lot of headache when valorant requires too many skills i can't adapt at the moment, these tips help me a lot.
