The only thing they do if at all is a "pseudo" hwid with a cfg file that you can simply delete and even this isnt used regularly. The last time i know of where they actively did this was during last years december banwave.
That being said the client and also stub itself still collect some information which they could use anytime for real hwid bans.

I think there's no point in using a spoofer for league since i always get banned but only account bans so, dont worry your pc wont get HWid banned:
