Haibane Renmei (2002): A girl with no memories wakes up in a world inhabited by angel-like beings.
Mushishi (2005-2006, 2014): A man travels the world, investigating mysterious creatures known as mushi.
Kino's Journey -the Beautiful World- (2003): A young traveler named Kino and her talking motorcycle Hermes journey from country to country, staying in each place for only three days.
These anime are all well-made and thought-provoking, but they don't get as much attention as some of the more popular series. I hope you enjoy them!
