Fortnite, Valorant gibi multiplayer oyunlar genelde bu tarz bir ban sistemi kullanmayı tercih eder. IP adresi yada hesap değiştirmeniz hiç bir şeyi değiştirmez ID ban atıldığı için ID banı olan parçanın değişmesi gerekmektedir. Bu yüzden bu banlama işlemine HWID ban adı verilmektedir.
