Valorant is catered more towards the casual players, CSGO is harder to learn i.e. smoke lineups, crosshair placement, map awareness, when to use certain utility, spray control, and many many other things. Valorants abilities make it easier for somebody new to an FPS to insert themselves into the scene. In my experience in immortal ranks on Valorant, people kind of just ran around aimlessly using their abilities to get frags. That won’t really work in CSGO. In my opinion CSGO is more fun/rewarding but you will need to put more than 5-7 hours a week into it to be above average. IF you want to be serious about a game then I think CSGO is a better fit.
