The big exports are iron ore, soybeans, wheat (I think), and beef. When China is making a lot of steel, and buying iron ore, the economy is great. When China slumps, as now, things get tough. I read not too long ago that Brazilian farmers had expanded soybean production a lot without clear-cutting or burning in the Amazon; that’s probably doing pretty well. I had some Brazilian beef in the Seychelles of all places and it was very good.

I know that the people are good hearted and cool too, nice culture and a beautiful country, but one thing that sucks for sure from what I've heard is the gangs that you guys have and the high crime rate.

Brazil is a wild and crazy place, man. I've heard about all the partying and the beautiful beaches and the amazing food. And let's not forget about the Amazon rainforest and all the crazy animals that live there. It must be an awesome place to live, with all that energy and excitement. I bet it's a lot of fun to be a part of the culture and experience all that Brazil has to offer. I'm sure it has its challenges too, but I bet it's worth it.
