Capitalism is based on free mutually beneficial exchanges. The creation of value by creating value to others. That said, I'm not sure what you mean by better (depends on the purpose) but I say it is the most moral system.

I think it's pretty terrible and that there are better ways to life. I hate the inequality that is brought about by capitalism.

The time we live in is very contradictory. Laws are based on justice and equality, but the system, capitalism, is in fact not for justice and equality. I think that there was never a time in human history that someone was not the absolute superior, like the USA is now. Little businesses cannot make it because big brands are taking over every customer, cheap labor like people and children in Africa and China, etc... Morals are in the gutter, but at the same time, capitalism showed it is sustainable, we can function in it, but it is really triggering my inner Weltschmerz (pain for the world).

Capitalism is an economic system based on private ownership of the means of production and their operation for profit.[1][2][3] It emerged in the 16th century as a free market economy. Features at the heart of capitalism include private property, capital accumulation, wage labor, voluntary barter, a price system, and competitive markets.[4][5] In a capitalist market economy, decision making and investment are determined by the owners of the factors of production in the financial and capital markets. Prices and distribution of goods are predominantly determined by competition in the market.[6][7]

The practice of capitalist economics was institutionalized in Europe between the 16th and 19th centuries, but some of its features can also be found in the Antiquity, with early forms of merchant capitalism emerging in the Middle Ages. Since feudalism ended, capitalism has been the dominant system in the Western world, and it has spread to the whole world from Europe, especially England.

Capitalism has two different features in terms of definition features. The first of these is the name of a large economic system in which production is made solely for the purpose of profit and this surplus value is sold in the market. The other definition emphasizes that capitalism is an economic system based on wage labor, a mode of production.

In the capitalist system, the income obtained as a result of production must be more than the cost of the product, and as a result, surplus value is formed. While the surplus value may occur as a result of the worker's reproduction of his own value, it may also occur when the product is sold in the market with a certain profit margin. Capitalism also means "capitalism" or "capitalism" in Turkish.
