I think it's worse than that; the game (TLOU2) utterly annihilated the legacy of the first one (TLOU).. The way it treated the original message and characters is disgusting. I admit the graphics are good, but so could be said about any modern huge-budget game. What makes an outstanding game is a great story or revolutionary gameplay, however, and this game lacks both. All it depicts is a never-ending cycle of violence, which, ironically, 'surprisingly' ends when the main character discovers mercy after having killed hundreds of (even innocent) people..I think the game has its mistakes, like the death of ... (without spoiler), the way it was made. But it is a good game, impressive because it is "realistic" and you get attached to some characters. As I have seen in several places, the game is for adults not because of the violence itself, but because of what it provides for learning, it is difficult to understand everything and stay neutral in the story.

Certainly hahaha, dps of 9 years playing will decrease, but we continue playing there haha
I liked your point of view, it's a different way of looking at everything. There really are some holes in the script that you get pissed off because you know that this is not how it should happen, based on the first one. I don't see any of the characters as correct, I think it's a good game (my opinion of course), but it makes you very bad.I think it's worse than that; the game (TLOU2) utterly annihilated the legacy of the first one (TLOU).. Even amidst the worst of a catastrophy, there was still some ray of hope to be found and people and ideals worth fighting for.. But here, not even the characters' decisions make sense. Their stupidity is frustrating and so is the dragging gameplay.. No way I could call this bollocks a good game. I consider The Last of Us a masterpiece, but the sequel is absolute garbage. But that's what I think, so feel free to like it, lol.
remake or original?i like resident evil 3
I didn't want to write an essay so I just kinda summed it up, but there's really a lot more that's wrong with it which I didn't mention. But I also have to admit that I'm tired of talking about it because I've been watching the whole situation since the leaks came out (and how Naughty Dog started slamming copyright strikes at people that didn't even publish any footage but just talked about it) . That made me really disappointed in ND even before the game came out.. But I have to say I knew the game was going to be a disaster from the moment I'd seen the leaks.I liked your point of view, it's a different way of looking at everything. It is a game that you either like very much, or hate it and I think that the thinking of the developers was purposeful. Thanks for giving your opinion, really.

Oh well, I ended up writing an essay anyway, haha..I didn't want to write an essay so I just kinda summed it up, but there's really a lot more that's wrong with it which I didn't mention. There truly are many plot holes and the characters aren't very relatable. For example, if you look at Abby, it's impossible for the player to relate to her because her (I still don't know whether it's a she or he omg) story is told so badly.. No one will care about a character if you introduce them that way and tell their story after what you made them do to the characters players care about..
I'm really open to any kind of story, but I want it to be interesting and have some kind of message, or at least be cleverly funny. But it seems to me like this game's sole purpose was to make you despise the game and return it to the store asap, lol. If I ever were developing a game, I'd want people to love it, not hate it. If I meant it to be a revenge story, I'd want people to understand the characters' action. But I think that in this case, the developers *cough* Druckmann *cough* just went woke and wanted to please certain minority of people, sacrificing all the things that make a good game.
Sorry if I'm being too lengthy about it, but I hope you don't mind.I'm glad, though, that you enjoyed playing it, because I could never. I got totally frustrated from only watching it.. I saw a Korean streamer cut the disks in half after that scene (the golf club one, eh).. And it made me really sad because his father had died and it made him so depressed the way they treated certain characters.
I certainly agree with many of the themes that you mentioned, I was fortunate not to have received or read any kind of leak about it. Maybe it influenced the way I saw the game, all of a surprise. I also saw about it about abby, I thought it was worked in a not so deep way, you know? As if it were there just to fit the script. It would be nice to see Bill again, perhaps passing through the city again or some mention of him in the camps "years ago I spent in a city covered with traps ...". I also wanted to be able to write a game in a way that everyone loved, or at least didn't hate, as was the case that you said about breaking records and stuff (I saw that). I am saddened by the way that joel left, they said that he softened his heart after years of living with tommy and the staff. But I don't know, I still think he was very innocent in not suspecting anything (where was the joel who went on killing and asked after the first game?)I didn't want to write an essay so I just kinda summed it up, but there's really a lot more that's wrong with it which I didn't mention. I actually wanted to see the leaks myself because I had an odd feeling about the whole game (premonition, I suppose). And when I did, the reality hit me, lol.. You're right, the whole Abby thing was all bad, like a plot filler, but the thing is, they made her a protagonist and the whole story basically revolved around her. So they made a huge mistake there, setting her in the centre of everything with such poor writing.I certainly agree with many of the themes that you mentioned, I was fortunate not to have received or read any kind of leak about it. If you want to finish the matter here, feel free. It was an interesting dialogue for both, I hope.
