From what you say, you have been bullied by one person and not by a group, which can happen in the school environment. Have you ever thought about communicating with the school? That's one point. It is important that the Institution promotes preventive and educational measures so that students have more empathy (put themselves in the Other's shoes) and have healthy relationships. It's very good of you to be concerned about the ethics and integrity of both of them.

just ignore them and do something you like

Being bullied means that there are weak points in you so should work hard to strengthen the weak points

To be confident in themselves, develop themselves as much as possible, and exploit bullying to their advantage. :)

There is no magic wand, just ignore them, pretend they don't exist, sooner or later they will get fed up

Dealing with bullying can be challenging, but there are several strategies and support systems that individuals who are being bullied can consider:

  1. Confide in Someone: Share your experiences with someone you trust, such as a friend, family member, teacher, or counselor. Opening up about the situation can provide emotional support and help you feel less isolated.
  2. Report the Bullying:
    • In a school or workplace setting, report the bullying to the appropriate authorities, such as teachers, school administrators, or HR representatives. Many institutions have anti-bullying policies and protocols in place.
  3. Document the Incidents:
    • Keep a record of the bullying incidents, including dates, times, locations, and descriptions. This documentation can be useful when reporting the issue to authorities.
  4. Set Boundaries:
    • Clearly and assertively communicate your boundaries to the person or people involved in the bullying. Let them know that their behavior is not acceptable.
  5. Build a Support System:
    • Surround yourself with supportive friends and positive influences. Having a strong support system can help you cope with the emotional impact of bullying.
  6. Seek Professional Help:
    • If the bullying is causing significant emotional distress, consider seeking help from a mental health professional. They can provide guidance, coping strategies, and a safe space to express your feelings.
  7. Practice Self-Care:
    • Take care of your physical and mental well-being. Engage in activities that bring you joy and relaxation. Exercise, mindfulness, and hobbies can be effective ways to reduce stress.
  8. Explore Legal Options:
    • In cases of severe or persistent bullying, you may want to explore legal options. Consult with legal professionals or advocacy organizations to understand your rights and potential courses of action.
  9. Educate Others:
    • Consider participating in anti-bullying initiatives or programs. Raising awareness about the impact of bullying can contribute to creating a more supportive and empathetic environment.
  10. Stay Safe Online:
    • If the bullying is happening online, practice online safety measures. Block and report the individuals involved, and be cautious about sharing personal information online.
Remember that everyone's situation is unique, and the effectiveness of these strategies can vary. If you or someone you know is experiencing bullying, it's crucial to reach out for support and take steps to address the issue. No one deserves to be bullied, and there are resources available to help address and prevent such behavior.
