The strangest advice I have ever received is to "be more like a robot." This advice was given to me by a friend who was trying to help me deal with some personal problems that I was having. My friend said that robots are always logical and rational, and that they never let their emotions get the best of them. He said that if I could learn to be more like a robot, then I would be able to deal with my problems in a more effective way.
