sousou no frieren really hit like a bus at first, so I'd hesitate between this and dead mount death play. The problem with sousou no frieren is that it really became lowkey boring after the first 3 episodes and dead mount death play really becomes boring since magic and stuff really isn't exploited at some point..
Another new anime I really like is shangri la frontier, really good and has alot of potential. I just like manwhas more tbh, anime is just mid nowadays other than the few rare gems..
