You can buy another pwoerful ram and also gpu extension it would be a great start for your laptop
It depends on the laptop you have. Almost all of the laptops you have replacable hard drives and in some cases SDDs as well. RAM can be replaced if the laptop has slots instead of integrated RAM. For CPU and GPU there is no way to replace them since they are integrated into the motherboard so if you wanted to replace them you would have to replace the whole motherboard.

You cannot upgrade CPU,GPU on laptops.

Its not so good to spend money on already bought laptop. because most of the parts are built-in like gpu, cpu so you can't upgrade them. if you want for gaming, then better to go for gaming laptop or pc
True and if one component just goes faulty the entire laptop just gets bricked.

I'd always recommend to use gaming pcs instead of laptops because faults can be easily caught in pc but in laptops as you said if one component goes faulty, the entire laptop is useless
