Diablo 2 was my life! I put more hours into this game then anything else.
I moved in with a friend of mine and he would play in the day and I would play through the night. He got me hooked! From 2001 to 20011 I played this game almost every day and in 2008 I ended up going to the hospital because I was I was playing way too much. . Some days I would spend 17 hours playing. I discovered bugs and exploits and was very involved in various community forums.
I had around 200 accounts at one point. I never really threw anything away so 1-2 accounts would be for say only rings. It would take me 1 hour just to find what people needed so I made a program to track items on my mules.
I still to this day have the game installed and play it. It is and forever will be my favorite game of all time. There's just something sentimental about it...I have other games I really enjoy. But they don't compare to my days spent in D2.
