I have mostly learnt English from school and by playing games. Also by youtube when I watch some english youtuber. My english has gotten much better.

Thats actually the only thing ive learned without studying anything related to it.
When I was a kid my uncle and I used to watch a lot of harry potter, like every day of the week. He used to make me watch it with subtitles on, that way I ended up learning pretty much 80% of what i know of the language.

Seriously, I learnt more from games, movies, shows and talk central rather than my English teacher giving me lectures on adverb, pronunciation etc etc. And yeah Google is the most important one probably the FIRST to mention here

Games, for sure. The game that taught me the most was Tibia. I remember doing a school project that we were suppouse do craft a dictionary english>portuguese (I'm from Brazil). I grabbed a bunch of items and enemies from the game and created my dictionary.
Fast fowart to today and now I'm an English Teacher
