I'm certain those old games require old drivers and your Windows may have the advanced ones. Just troubleshoot the error, locate the necessary drivers and download them.
Check if your windows version is compatible or if your windows is up to date.
But I have noticed that windows 7 responds better
Install all VCredist & Framework & DirectX 9 to 11... With all theses packages you must be able to run all old games !
