ya this could be the problemare you sure the hdmi is plugged in the gpu and not the mobo? if you are then try to checking the nvidia control panel (if you have it) and choose ur gpu instead of the integrated card
what if you cant update or downgrade you bios like meformat your computer xd or unistall driver and install again but not by geforce exprience, and maybe downgrade your bios
Make sure the hdmi cable is on the gpu card not in the motherboardHello world.
I have a problem with my Lenovo Legion y520 15IKBN 80WK.
I have itegrated Intel HD Graphic 630, and i "had" nVidia 1050 (dont know it was ti or not)
Today I was changing termal paste, and cleaning dust.
After turning on, and run game, i noticed 9 fps, which is a joke, so i checked for problems, and there was one - it was not run by nVidia, but by integrated card.
So i was checking why... I wanted to update nVidia software, but when i entered GeForce Experience it started to download the whole driver (400-600mb / just like there were no driver at all). I let it do it. Nothing changed....
Now i cant instal newest nvidia drivers becose of errors that say (cant instal drivers with this system), and second one (cant detect graphic card)
On the oldest one drivers like 390. it say only about cant detect graphic card.
Now next problems occured - when i tried to update Windows (google solution) - it had errors while updating - ?WTF? and cannot do that, so i done Restoring sytem wichout personal data deletion.
Now i have done xD :
Clean nVidia software instalation, - cant becose nvidia dont detect graphic card.
Uninstalling GPU drivers, and clean instalation in safe boot mode, wichout internet) - cant becose nvidia dont detect graphic card.
Updating Windows (now i have Cortana in Polish, but i dont have vdo card)
Oh My God......... Im losing my mind...
I readed that in BIOS, is option that uses Descrete / OFI Only (sorry but cant remember shortcut for it / it was 3 letters) only for Lenovo that problem happen....
My BIOS is up to date...
I have no other idea.
Im 100% that i dont brake anything while changing thermal paste. I was so delicate, like carying a child... -.-
driver booster might help but deactivate ur antivirus too and temp filesHello world.
