I've been wanting to try this game out for a long time, but alas, my motion sickness and first-person games are terrible enemies.

Depends on what type of war movie you want. What era? Should it be focused on the consequences of the war? Or do you just want action with some good storytelling?

Monster is awesome. I'm not the biggest fan of the ending, though. Urasawa (the author) is a very good storyteller but writes rather poor endings. I'd still recommend it. If you're looking for something impactful but short, Zankyou no Terroru is the best.
