PUBG: 247k avg players, came out 6 years ago, very fun but hard to master, lots of skill needed.
Valorant: 1.2M avg players, came out 1 year ago, easier to master, still takes skill.

i think people who complain about boredom in video games are spoiled. there are SO MANY video games out there, there's almost always something for everyone. if you're bored, it's probably bc you just have bad taste. so find something else to play!
depends what you want it for... laptops are good if you need something that's compact and portable (like for school or traveling) but you'll need to spend more if you want good graphics and speed. with a setup you don't have the portability but it will definitely be cheaper and better than a laptop.
