That's an interesting question, if you're a begginer it wouldn't make sense for you to have God Tier mechanics (that would be sus) so i reccomend that you choose more "straight foward" champions that you can carry with, like Amumu, Zac, Nunu. You wouldn't see any of these in a highlight montage...

In League of Legends? ADC for sure, i think the scripts work better and have more impact as ADC. Other than beeing less obvious that you're using a script for ADC nowadays than other roles.

It depends of many factors, best for what? I think Annie right now is a pretty strong pick, she's easy to play and that let's you focus on other things, such as decision making. I like this type of champion because of that.
