I think they only ban pc hardware id if you're a real problem like ddos the game and racist. But if cheating. you just get an account ban

Private sever still do, especially maplestory, but most ban hwid now since it’s harder to spoof.
Bsck to main topic, I’m pretty sure they don’t ban ip. You might get banned after reaching level 30 or so. I remember I only survived until plat before I got banned.
