3050 really sucks in terms of performance, should go for 2080 because 3050 is a bit on the budget and cheaper side.

Our Verdict: With some tuning, the RTX 2080 makes the most sense for gamers with 4K monitors and it is better than RTX 3050 by a margin. Though serious gamers hardly play at 4k. For everyone else, especially those on 1080p or even 1440p monitors, the RTX 3050 could be the better value choice in the short term.
