Sometimes this happens to me, and to work around it, when starting the game and activating the cheater with ENTER, I click on K to launch the automatic dodge, and deactivate it in the next instant, and then everything is calibrated and I can farm so much with last hit as much as using the combo at any time without having this problem.
Try it and see if it solves your problem.

Unfortunately for me only ENTER can start the cheat, even if I press K the cheat does not start.
At least LPReborn works normally here so I'll use it for now.
