Gale force or Kraken

From what I heard from another thread, some people are saying kraken is better and some are saying Gale Force is much better than kraken. Please explain all the features of these two and why kraken or gale force is better compared to each other.

You take kraken if enemy comp has so many tanks and champs that don't have more range han you or can't one shot you or you have a good sup or a front line that you can relay on to tank dmg for you and if not take galefor it's good vs long range and assasin
