In my opinion, Vanguard will not work as expected in LOL because the game we are talking about is a 12year old game and if they want to end the cheats, they need to make a lot of changes in the codes of the game.
But they can add hwid ban like in valorant

Vanguard will HWID ban, it's how it works. It issues perma bans to the accounts cheating, and 1 to 6 months to the pc. You can off course use a spoofer and play again with another account, but you'll still get the same results almost instantly

Many will leave the game. A reddit poll suggested in the launch day of vanguard and afterwards don't play again, boycottage the game until the devs remove it

They can't do that because vanguard isn't running for now. They still use the old anti cheat, the same wich had it's code leaked about a year ago and many plaforms know how to bypass it

My biggest concern about Vanguard isn't even the ban itself. But block by HWID and get banned forever.
